About the Role
Based in the Armidale Maternity Unit, we are looking for a dynamic, motivated Clinical Midwifery Educator (CME) to support our Student Midwives, Graduate Midwives and Registered Midwives. This is a very exciting time for Armidale Maternity, as they are currently developing a Midwifery Group Practice and Initial Maternity Assessment and Planning Clinic, offering continuity of care models. You will work under the support of the Maternity Unit Manager, the other CME you will job share with, and senior leadership across Armidale Hospital. Responsibilities
Support and mentor student, graduate and registered midwives through teaching, clinical supervision and workforce development. Provide clinical education, competency assessment and facilitation of clinical placements and professional development activities.
Requirements
* Registered Midwife with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA and hold relevant clinical or education post‐registration qualifications.
* Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or holding a suitable visa that allows work in Australia.
