 
        
        Find your ideal role as a Compliance and Building Officer, supporting our team to ensure the highest standards of service delivery in local government.
The position involves assisting in the provision of Part 6 Services, Principal Certifier Services and enforcement of planning and building laws. You will work closely with our Team Leader Compliance to assess hoarding and activity applications, providing administrative support and maintaining accurate records.
You will also be responsible for supporting our Fire Safety Officer in administering Council's Fire Safety program, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
To succeed in this role, you will have recently completed or be currently studying towards a relevant tertiary qualification. You will possess excellent organisational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
You will demonstrate a commitment to customer service, effective communication skills and ability to read and interpret construction plans. As a high achiever, you will be motivated by ongoing learning and development opportunities, including training and professional certification.
