About the Role:
As a Heavy Vehicle Fitter Assistant, you’ll support qualified tradespeople in the fitout and modification of heavy vehicles.
You’ll work on real trucks and components—learning practical skills in a supportive, well-equipped environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fit accessories and components to heavy vehicles
- Assist tradespeople with mechanical installations and modifications
- Follow clear workshop procedures and safety protocols
- Keep tools and equipment organised and well-maintained
What We’re Looking For:
- Mechanical experience—light vehicle, auto electrical, accessory fitting or similar
- Competency with tools and workshop equipment
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a team environment
- Reliable, safety-minded, and committed to quality work
