Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our innovative Research and Development team in Western Australia.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Leveraging your expertise in designing bespoke machinery, combining hydraulic, electronic, and mechanical systems to tackle challenging conditions.
* Utilising SolidWorks to transform concepts into detailed manufacturing designs, ensuring compliance with AS and ISO standards.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions, manage design data with PDM systems, and provide technical support during equipment installation and operation.
* Analysing test data and iterating designs based on findings to achieve optimal performance and reliability.
About the candidate:
We are looking for a qualified engineer with a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, preferably with a Master's degree. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly with a background in manufacturing/OEM is required.
A strong understanding of mechanical principles and design techniques is essential. Additionally, familiarity with PDM systems and best practices for data management is desirable.
