DNE Civil is growing fast, and we’re ready to take the next step. We’re seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help position DNE Civil at the front of the table with councils, principals, and delivery partners across Queensland.
This role is about people, presence, and pipeline.
About the Role
As our Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving sustainable growth across civil construction delivery and our expanding wet hire,dry hire fleet and Labour Hire.
You’ll work closely with the Director, Project Managers and Operations Manager to identify opportunities early, strengthen long-term partnerships, and help package DNE Civil as a low-risk, high-performing delivery partner.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with local councils, engineers, and principal contractors
* Identifying upcoming opportunities across councils and major infrastructure programs
* Promoting DNE Civil’s civil delivery capability and expanding wet, dry hire and Labour Hire fleet
* Strengthening repeat work, panel positions, and preferred contractor relationships
* Helping drive utilisation and growth of DNE Civil’s plant and equipment fleet
What We’re Looking For
* An enthusiastic, confident communicator who enjoys building genuine relationships
* Experience in civil construction, infrastructure, or government-funded projects
* Strong understanding of council and principal contractor procurement processes
* Commercially minded with the ability to identify opportunity early
* Professional, credible, and well-presented in front of clients
* Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously
* Willingness to travel across Queensland as required
* Experience with plant hire, fleet utilisation, or contractor partnerships (highly regarded)
