Overview
Liverpool Plains Shire Council seeks a highly experienced executive to join the Executive Leadership Team as Director Planning and Growth. This role leads the Council’s new Growth Management and Housing Strategy and Economic Development Strategy, guiding sustainable growth and development in alignment with the community’s aspirations and environmental values.
Responsibilities
* Lead the implementation of the Council’s Growth Management and Housing Strategy and Economic Development Strategy.
* Guide sustainable growth and development to align with the community’s aspirations and environmental values.
* Provide strategic leadership within the Executive Leadership Team, working closely with the General Manager and Directors to deliver tangible results and continuous improvement.
* Support hands-on leadership and a public-service mindset to achieve meaningful community outcomes.
Remuneration and benefits
Competitive TRP up to $240,000 including leaseback vehicle, with additional benefits such as an initial housing subsidy, relocation assistance, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
