JOB DESCRIPTION
We're excited to welcome an Administration Officer to our Procedural Suites/Endoscopy Unit within Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. The Administration Officer provides high level of confidential administrative support for the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. This position is a prime point of contact for internal and external communication and booking of Day Surgery procedures.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilies include:
* Role maybe rostered at several of our sites, these being Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Birtinya and Nambour General Hospital.
* Maintain the Endoscopy Unit Waitlist and book appropriately following the instructions from Clinical Teams.
* Maintenance of patient records in an integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) and a Hospital Based Corporate Information System (HBCIS) including the updating of patient registration details, scheduling appointments, checking in of patients to the unit, and updating of referring doctor's detail in clinical databases (e.g. ieMR, HBCIS, ESSIS).
* Provide information to internal and external clients regarding office services and procedures to promote quality customer service through reception (telephone and patient facing enquiries), email and other forums.
Remuneration value up to $97 656 p.a., comprising salary between $76 963 - $85 591 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $38.81 - $43.16 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (several full time and/or part time position available).
