What you'll do:
* Support the smooth operation of the branch to ensure equipment is ready for dispatch
* Manage work orders, purchasing, and procurement for the rental fleet
* Provide hands‑on support to service technicians, including issuing parts and materials
* Maintain stock levels, process purchase orders, and receive goods
* Operate forklifts and assist with yard operations, including stocktakes and equipment movements
* Load and unload equipment from trucks, complete paperwork, and assist with inspections
* Carry out minor services and repairs (e.g., oil changes, leak repairs) under guidance
* Maintain a clean and organised store and yard environment
* Oversee third‑party contractors working in the branch
* Champion safety protocols and contribute to a zero‑harm culture every day
What you'll bring:
* Full driver's licence (forklift licence and First Aid certification preferred)
* Experience in a similar role (stock handling, procurement, work orders, yard responsibilities)
* Computer literacy and knowledge of stock systems
* Mechanical aptitude and a proactive, self‑starter attitude
* High‑level organisational skills and attention to detail
* Strong listening, fault‑finding, and problem‑solving skills
* Commitment to safety, honesty, accountability, and performance
