Part-Time Practitioner Wanted

We're a small-but-mighty Tasmanian not-for-profit doing big things for mental health and wellbeing across the island. From individuals and families to workplaces and communities, we've got their backs. And thanks to exciting growth, we're on the lookout for another kind soul (that's you) to come on board.
This role is based in Launceston (but may require some travelling within Tasmania) where you will see you delivering counselling support face-to-face and via telehealth to a diverse range of clients. Your week will be varied, meaningful, and full of human connection. You will be working mostly solo but always backed by a team.
About the role:
You'll be:
* Holding space and building trust with clients from all walks of life
* Providing short-term, solution-focused counselling to EAP clients
* Providing longer-term support to our worker's compensation referrals and private clients
* Supporting workplaces with on-site critical incident response and wellbeing services
* Managing your caseload with a cool head and compassionate heart
* Championing mental health and promoting wellbeing across the board
We're looking for someone available 3 to 5 days per week—let's chat about what that looks like for you.
About You
You're a people-person who can work independently, meet deadlines, and bring both structure and warmth to your work.
You'll bring:
* A degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling
* Registration with AASW, APS, PACFA or ACA
* Bring a few years of solid counselling experience to the table
* A toolbox full of evidence-based approaches (solution-focused, trauma-informed, strength-based, etc.)
* Strong skills in risk assessment and managing complex issues
* Excellent time management, resilience, and emotional intelligence
* Bonus points if you're across Family Law counselling
* A driver's licence, a Police Check (no more than 6 months old), and a valid WWVP check (or the ability to get one)
You'll really stand out if you:
* Have experience with EAP or workplace wellness
* Have run training or wellbeing sessions before
* Are you able to work with a range of individuals, including children and couples.

Remuneration will be under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award with salary commensurate to experience and hours worked.
