Facilities Maintenance Assistant Job Description
Maintaining a clean and safe environment is crucial for any educational institution. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing internal and external cleaning duties to ensure the school's facilities are always in excellent condition.
The Role Responsibilities
* Carpet and hard floor surface maintenance
* Sanitation and hygiene of toilets, furniture, and fittings
* Window cleaning and dusting services
* Waste removal and general cleaning tasks
* External cleaning duties including verandas and covered areas
During vacation periods, you may also be required to undertake specialized tasks such as stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, window cleaning, carpet shampooing, and pressure cleaning of verandas and undercover areas.
Applicants must possess good attention to detail, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and procedures.
