Senior Electrical Engineer
with proven expertise in both the commercial and technical delivery of electrical substation and distribution projects. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of new infrastructure projects and drive the growth of our civil, structural, and electrical capabilities. What you’ll be doing
Oversee all project delivery phases, from tender to closeout, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and procedures. Efficiently plan and coordinate project delivery to meet or exceed customer requirements. Manage field‑based activities, including time, cost, quality, and safety, in collaboration with a project team (engineer, construction manager, and field leaders). Conduct risk assessments and workshops to mitigate HSE and enterprise risks. Lead communication with internal and external stakeholders, including C‑suite executives, through status updates, board papers, and memos. Ensure full compliance with HSEQ Management and Risk Management Plans. Apply PMBOK‑based frameworks to produce Project Management Plans and related documentation. Maintain project schedules using MS Project, manage resources, and forecast costs using SAP and Excel. More about you
Must have experience in HV systems in Transmission Lines or Substations. Proven experience in projects within utilities infrastructure or industrial electrical environments. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to lead and motivate teams and subcontractors to achieve project milestones. Expertise in managing budgets, controlling costs, and delivering financial outcomes. Advanced skills in MS Office, including MS Project; SAP experience is a plus. Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant domains.
