Our client, a well-established and growing real estate private credit investment manager, is seeking a talented Credit Analyst to join their high-performing team in Australia.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious property finance professional to gain exposure to a diverse range of structured real estate debt transactions, including first and second mortgages, mezzanine finance and preferred equity investments across retail, office, industrial, land subdivision and residential sectors nationwide.
The Role
Working closely with Origination, Credit and Asset Management teams, you will play a key role in assessing, executing and actively monitoring property debt investments through to repayment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting detailed credit assessment and financial analysis of property investment and development proposals
* Building and maintaining robust Excel financial models to evaluate feasibility and risk
* Analysing key credit metrics such as LVR, ICR, DSCR, RLVR, WALE, pre-sales and exit sensitivities
* Preparing high-quality credit papers and investment memoranda for Credit Committee
* Coordinating due diligence processes with valuers, QS consultants, lawyers and technical advisors
* Supporting transaction execution, documentation review and settlement processes
* Monitoring live transactions, covenant compliance, construction progress and drawdowns
* Assisting with portfolio reporting and proactive risk management initiatives
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who have:
* 2–5 years' experience in property finance, banking, non-bank lending, real estate private credit or development finance
* Strong financial modelling skills in Excel
* Solid understanding of property development feasibilities and structured debt transactions
* Experience reviewing valuations, QS reports and legal documentation
* Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills
* Sound commercial judgement and risk awareness
