About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and driven Chef de Partie to join our team at Chin Chin Sydney. You ideally have extensive wok and grill experience. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the overall operation of your allocated section runs smoothly and effectively and training & coaching cooks to ensure quality and consistency of products.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have
* Demonstrated experience as a Chef de Partie in an a la carte environment
* Wok and Grill experience advantageous
* Asian cuisine knowledge is highly regarded
* Experience in high volume, fast‐paced restaurant environment
* Resilient and able to perform in high‐pressure service periods
* Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
* Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Understanding of food safety standards
* Willing and able to work rotating roster that includes weekend and public holiday.
