Overview
Matthews & Scavalli Architects is a small, design-focused practice based in Fremantle delivering a diverse range of projects across multi-residential, commercial, hospitality and education sectors.
We are seeking a Graduate of Architecture or Registered Architect with 3-5+ years of experience to join our close-knit team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, collaborative, and keen to contribute to all stages of project delivery.
At Matthews & Scavalli Architects, you'll do far more than draft details — you'll help shape places and experiences. As part of our small, collaborative Fremantle studio, you'll work directly alongside the directors on a diverse mix of projects and you will have genuine input from concept through construction, with the opportunity to see your ideas built, and the support to grow your technical and creative confidence in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with directors on a diverse mix of projects spanning multi-residential, commercial and hospitality throughout Perth and Australia.
* Contribute to project development from concept through construction.
* Assist with design development, documentation, and technical detailing.
Essential skills
* Advanced level Revit proficiency is required
* Candidates must demonstrate complex modelling capabilities in Revit to meet advanced proficiency requirements
* Strong design and documentation capability
* Excellent communication and attention to detail
* Experience with SketchUp and graphic presentation software
Requirements
* Applicants must reside in Western Australia and have local experience.
* Permanent residency status or equivalent work authorisation is required for this position
* Candidates must have specific architectural experience within Australia
* Remuneration will be commensurate with the Award rate and level of experience.
* The position is for a Contract Role with a minimum of 6 months employment. Real opportunity exists for Full-time employment to be reviewed after 12 months.
