About the Role
As a Housing Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management of public housing tenancies. You will engage directly with tenants in the field, provide tailored support, and help sustain long-term housing solutions. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a portfolio of tenancies to ensure adherence to tenancy agreements.
* Conducting property inspections and monitoring property standards.
* Providing outreach support through home visits and neighbourhood engagement.
* Supporting tenants with affordability, debt management, and access to services.
* Responding to tenant enquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
* Preparing accurate reports, documentation, and case notes.
* Building collaborative relationships with community organisations and stakeholders.

About You
We are seeking motivated and community-focused professionals with strong interpersonal and organisational skills. To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Experience in delivering high-quality customer service in community or tenancy settings.
* Strong organisational and data management skills to track KPIs and tenancy outcomes.
* Ability to apply relevant legislation, policies and procedures in practice.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Confidence working both independently and as part of a team.
* A current driver's licence and willingness to travel for tenant visits.
* Registration under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
Relevant qualifications in Leadership, Management, Social Work, Community Development, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
