Field Service Technician I Responsibilities
Reviews project quotes and scopes before beginning an onsite executionInspects installation sites, studies work orders, architectural plans, and comprehensive installation methodsInstalls low voltage cabling, devices, and systems, adhering to precise specifications, relevant codes, and industry practices, as directed by their supervisorTroubleshoots and diagnoses issues with installed systemsConducts routine maintenance and inspections of systems as neededResponds promptly to service calls and customer inquiriesTravels extensively across mostly within the Midwest and on occasion weekends that are necessary for multiple sites; Home most weekendsProvides excellent customer service and maintains customer satisfactionField Service Technician I Qualifications
Minimum 2 years with a previous construction tradeHands-on/field experience from previous work experiencePossesses and maintains a working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations and IP addressingAbility to read architectural drawingsTeam management/supervisor experiencePrevious experience completing projects within scopePrevious experience with service ticketing processesAny previous knowledge in fire, CCTV, intrusion, emergency nurse call systemsExcellent communication skillsMust have valid US Driver's licenseAbout K Group Companies
