$85,607 - $97,790 (plus Super)
- Canberra - ACT

**The Role**
The Clinical Governance - Air Force (CG-AF) Program is a newly-established initiative within Air Force Health. As a member of this new and exciting team, the successful applicant will assume the key role of CG-AF Program Administrative Officer (CG-AF ADMINO).

The CG-AF ADMINO will receive ample support and educational opportunities to train and develop their skills and knowledge. The incumbent will provide basic administrative support to the three-person CG-AF Executive Team and fulfil an Operations role in the newly formed, Health Professional Engagement Program - Air Force (HPEP-AF).

In addition to performing core administrative functions such as booking and acquitting travel, file and inbox management, the successful applicant will also take the primary role in coordinating the various already-established HPEP-AF programs, including formalised Mentoring, Coaching and Peer Support initiatives with the assistance of a small but highly motivated group of HPEP-AF uniformed staff who are posted at various Air Force Bases across Australia.

This position will initially be offered as a non-ongoing role for a period of 18 months, however may become ongoing in that time. This recruitment activity may also be used to create a merit pool for future vacancies.

**About our Team**
The Clinical Governance - Air Force (CG-AF) Program provides direction, support and partnership to Air Force Health leaders and providers to ensure that the delivery of care and operational health support is at the highest possible standard.

This is achieved with a balanced approach to safety and quality with an emphasis on performance driven "productive safety" as well as attention to compliance based "protective safety" measures.

Health Professional Engagement Program - Air Force (HPEP-AF) is an integral part of the "productive safety" arm of CG-AF. Amongst other initiatives, HPEP-AF provides formalised mentoring, coaching and peer-support programs for a total of 200-300 Air Force Health Professionals of all categories and musterings (e.g. medical, nursing, medical technicians, environmental health officers, dental etc.) - all with a view to enabling Air Force Health Professionals to develop to their full potential.

The Clinical Governance - Air Force (CG-AF) Program seeks an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has a desire to learn new skills and knowledge. Previous administrative services experience, particularly within the Department of Defence, will be of significant benefit. Experience in health-related fields and a level of comfort across a range of software platforms such as Microsoft Teams would also be very beneficial.

They should be highly motivated, be able to work independently and have the ability to liaise effectively with Defence personnel of all ranks and specialisations.
