Job Overview:
Support Specialist - Procurement Systems
Ventia is seeking a highly skilled Support Specialist to play a key role in enhancing and governing our procurement technology landscape.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of SAP systems, particularly Ariba, SAP ECC, and Concur. They will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and resolve issues effectively.
* Build, test, implement, and govern procurement system solutions across Strategic, Tactical, and Operational procurement processes.
* Manage and resolve complex technical and process escalations from users and internal stakeholders.
* Provide system interrogation and advice to end users, enabling resolution of system issues.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely issue resolution.
* Analyse workflows and develop process maps to identify improvement opportunities.
* Work with software and architecture teams to recommend sustainable solutions and raise change requests when required.
* Promote procurement process understanding and compliance across the business.
* Support the delivery of key procurement improvement projects as part of the company's continuous improvement strategy.
Requirements:
* Strong technical knowledge of SAP systems, particularly Ariba, SAP ECC, and Concur.
* Proven experience managing stakeholders and driving change across large, diverse organisations.
* High-level interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise and resolve issues effectively.
* Experience in collaborative and consultative professional environments.
* A passion for continuous improvement, systems governance, and stakeholder engagement.
