We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Property Officer on a permanent, full-time basis to support the effective management of our property portfolio. This role coordinates and carries out administrative and customer service functions related to reserved and leased car parking spaces, use of footpaths for display of goods and outdoor dining, operation of our cemeteries, and provides administrative support to other property-related matters. The position requires strong customer service, innovation, attention to detail, and alignment with corporate needs.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and carry out administrative and customer service functions for property-related matters (reserved and leased car parking, use of footpaths for display of goods and outdoor dining).
- Support operation of cemeteries and related administrative processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external business partners to manage the property portfolio.
- Provide professional and expert support to meet corporate needs and objectives.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum Certificate III in Business Administration or in a related field.
- Suitable experience in property asset management administration or similar.
- Awareness of applicable legislation/regulations.
- Computer literate in basic office applications with the ability to learn corporate applications (TechnologyOne, HPE CM9).
- Commitment to customer service, good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work in a team.
- Availability to work flexible hours and current class C driver’s licence.
- Knowledge of legislation related to the role (Local Government Act 1993; Roads Act 1993; Cemeteries and Crematoria Act 2013).
Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level starts at $1,502.79 per week.
