Fire Response Specialist
This role is about providing critical support to emergency response teams in times of need.
The Fire Response Specialist will work closely with a team to respond to fire and other emergency incidents, promoting community safety and emergency preparedness through education and outreach activities.
Key responsibilities include:
* Attending incident and emergency calls
* Promoting community safety and emergency preparedness
* Developing and maintaining competencies through regular drills and training courses
* Maintaining required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training
* Operating specialist firefighting and rescue equipment safely and effectively
Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to upkeep and hygiene of station facilities, ensure maintenance and repair of operational equipment and station facilities, and contribute to incident reporting and general station administration as required.
