Exercise Physiologist – Part-Time (Casual) Position
We are seeking a qualified Exercise Physiologist to join our team across two clinic locations in Willagee and Canning Vale. This is a part-time casual position (approximately 20 hours per week), providing an excellent opportunity to work within an established and supportive practice. The role initially covers an 8-week leave period, with opportunity for the right candidate to continue ongoing.
About the Role
This is a supported early-career/developing Exercise Physiologist role with autonomous caseload management.
You will be responsible for:
* Conducting client assessments and developing individualised exercise programs
* Managing a mixed complexity caseload across MSK, chronic disease, rehabilitation, and funding-based clients
* New graduates are welcome to apply for this position
* Writing reports for GPs, specialists, and third-party stakeholders
* Supervising and progressing clients in a gym-based clinical setting
* Managing your own appointments and caseload independently
* Building and developing your own client caseload, alongside covering an existing EP caseload during leave coverage
* Occasional flexibility to work across both clinic locations if required (primarily based at one site)
You will work across a diverse client base including Medicare, My Aged Care, NDIS, WorkCover, motor vehicle accident rehabilitation and private clients.
While you will be expected to work autonomously in your day-to-day practice, you will be supported by both a Senior Exercise Physiologist and the Principal Exercise Physiologist for clinical guidance, case discussion, and professional support as required.
About You
* ESSA-accredited Exercise Physiologist (required at time of application)
* Either a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exercise Science required
* Suitable for early-career or developing EPs with confidence in independent practice
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with a diverse range of clients and patients
* Ability to work autonomously while managing a mixed clinical caseload
* Strong communication and report writing skills
* Valid work rights/visa accepted
Clinic hours: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm (Monday to Friday)
Saturdays mornings 7:00 am – 12:00 pm (alternating)
Approximately 20 hours per week (hours will be subject to clinic needs)
