About the Opportunity


T.E.A Transmissions is looking for an experienced and hands-on Office Administration Manager to drive our business operations, in Tiaro, QLD.

In this pivotal role you will be responsible for overseeing financial management, products, sales and inventory control while maintaining the strong, collaborative team culture.

We are seeking an individual who is looking to grow and diversify their skill-set. Your first 12 months will be a probationary period, where you will learn from the existing, long-standing General Manager, who will be retiring at the end of the year, to fully understand the business and the day-to-day operations.

After this period, you'll maintain and grow your responsibilities as the new hands on General Manager for the organisation

Some of your responsibilities will include:

* Managing sales activities, preparing quotations, and delivering exceptional customer service
* Leading stock ordering, inventory control, and warehouse coordination
* Supporting operational tasks such as packing orders, stock receiving, and warehouse organisation when needed
* Managing office administration, including ordering supplies and maintaining facilities
* Providing leadership, mentorship, and training to the small, tight-knit team

You have a business-savvy mindset with strong financial literacy—while an accounting qualification isn't required, confidence in working with numbers, quoting, and problem-solving is key as you'll be managing month end and year end financials If you have sales or operations experience, great—but more importantly, you're a quick learner with commercial awareness.

You're adaptability and proactive approach, will play a vital role in our success. Happy to step beyond your job title, you'll notice what needs doing and take initiative to step in when needed

What We're Looking For:

* A practical mindset and a willingness to learn
* Business acumen – financial literacy, commercial awareness, and problem-solving skills
* Strong communicator – confident liaising with clients and working in a small team

Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technical industries would be advantageous
