About the Role:  As the Content Editor, you are a key member of the Learning & Innovation team, working closely with Learning Designers, Content Developers, and Instructional Designers, to ensure the creation of high-quality, accurate, and engaging educational materials through provision of expert editing, copy editing, and proofreading services. This role is responsible for upholding editorial standards, managing copyright processes, and supporting the delivery of outstanding learning experiences.  Your key responsibilities include:  Ensuring the highest editorial standards across all educational materials produced by the Learning & Innovation team. This includes hands-on editing, copy editing, and proofreading to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and adherence to house style, as well as making content accessible and engaging for all learners. Managing the integrity and compliance of all learning content by overseeing copyright processes and version control throughout the content development lifecycle. This ensures that all materials are legally compliant, properly attributed, and accurately tracked from draft to publication. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the Learning & Innovation team. By participating in agile ceremonies and supporting team initiatives, the Editor helps drive efficient workflows and high-quality outcomes.   This vacancy is a 12month fixed term contract opportunity   About You:  You will come to us with experience as an editor â in-house or freelance, preferably in educational publishing or professional services, as well as  Exceptional command of the English language, demonstrated through copy editing, proofreading, and structural editing High level of concentration and attention to detail, maintained over extended periods in a fast paced environment Strong understanding of permissions and licensing requirements for educational content Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, for both internal teams and external SMEs Proficient in MS Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.), with particular proficiency in tracked changes, queries, and version control in MS Word IPEd accreditation is not essential but will be highly valued Relevant tertiary qualification in editing, publishing, proofreading, technical writing/editing, or similar   Why We Love Working at CPA Australia  At CPA Australia, weâre proud of our vibrant, values-led culture.
