About the role
Waterproof Essentials, a leading provider of high-quality waterproof products, is seeking a talented Sales Representative BDM to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for driving new business development and expanding our customer base in the SEQ area. As a Sales Representative BDM, you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing new sales opportunities, building strong relationships with prospective clients, and contributing to the company's overall growth strategy.
What you'll be doing
* Proactively prospecting and reaching out to potential customers to identify new sales opportunities
* Scheduling and conducting meetings with prospective clients to understand their needs and present Waterproof Essentials' products and services
* Negotiating and closing sales contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
* Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies
* Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
* Providing regular reports on sales performance and pipeline development
* Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years of experience in new business development or sales, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector
* Proven track record of successfully identifying, pursuing, and closing new sales opportunities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software
* Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
* Self-motivated, with a proactive and results-driven approach
* Knowledge of the waterproof products industry and relevant regulations and standards
