Role Description
The Implementation Consultant plays a vital role in translating customer requirements into tailored platform configurations. Acting as a key customer liaison, this role combines business analysis, solution configuration, and stakeholder communication to deliver robust, scalable insurance product implementations.
Responsibilities
* Gather, analyse, and interpret customer requirements into actionable platform configurations
* Design insurance product models, workflows, document templates, and business logic
* Configure user interfaces and user journeys using platform tools
* Implement business rules and financial calculations via
internal scripting language (Groovy)
* Prepare and manage
client-facing
documentation and testing artifacts
* Lead project communications, updates, and stakeholder coordination
* Monitor and report on scope, risk, and change management items
Requirements
Must-Haves:
* Technical consulting experience (scripting and configuration) - Java, Python, SQL
* Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
* Experience in both
Agile
and
Waterfall
project environments
* Ability to create detailed technical and business documentation
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Nice-to-Haves:
* Experience in general insurance
* Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience
