Yokogawa have an expanding SCADA project portfolio, and are searching for a dynamic and engaging Program Manager to build and Lead our portfolio of SCADA projects from our Melbourne office; representing Yokogawa to our key stakeholders, managing project plans, scopes and internal engineering development.

What you'll do:

* End-to-end SCADA project delivery — from system design and configuration through to testing, commissioning, ensuring high-quality results aligned with project scopes, schedules, and standards.
* Lead and manage SCADA project delivery teams, coordinating across multidisciplinary resources to drive successful project outcomes.
* Collaborate closely with Project Managers to plan, schedule, and execute project deliverables, maintaining alignment on budget, scope, and timeline throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage client stakeholder relationships, serving as the primary technical point of contact and ensuring clear, proactive communication at all stages of delivery.
* Identify, manage, and control project scope, including assessment and documentation of variations and change requests.
* Drive problem-solving and decision-making, proactively identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
* Provide technical guidance and solutions to clients, addressing complex SCADA issues and escalations.
* Ensure compliance with client design standards, industry regulations, and a commitment to engineering excellence.
* Mentor and develop graduate and junior engineers, contributing to team capability growth.

What you'll bring:

* Qualification in chemical engineering, instrumentation, mechatronics, electrical, or equivalent discipline, with demonstrated IT/OT systems exposure.
* Minimum of 10 years of hands‐on experience in SCADA project delivery, with a proven track record of leading project teams.
* Demonstrated experience working within structured project environments in collaboration with Project Managers and PMO frameworks.
* Proven ability to manage client stakeholders across all project phases, including senior and executive-level engagement.
* Experience managing project scope, variations, and change control processes.
* Strong working knowledge of SCADA system architecture, configuration, and integration across a range of industrial applications.
* Familiarity with IT infrastructure technologies relevant to SCADA environments, including Active Directory, web servers, virtualisation platforms, and remote access solutions.
* Working knowledge of OT network security principles, including DMZ architecture, the Purdue/ISA‐95 reference model, network segmentation, and OT/IT boundary management.
* Experience with industrial communication protocols including DNP3, Ethernet/IP and Modbus.
* Knowledge of SCADA platforms such as CI Server, GE iFIX is advantageous.
* Demonstrated ability to balance technical rigour with commercial awareness, including identifying and managing project risks and opportunities.
* Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
