About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of major construction projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for successfully managing civil engineering projects from conception to completion, with a focus on timely delivery and inherent profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement project plans and schedules to ensure timely completion.
* Estimate project quantities and costs for major tenders on a timely and cost-effective basis.
* Lead a team of Estimators to ensure the timely completion of estimates.
Maintain records of all project correspondence, calculations, and envisaged methodologies. Monitor current competitive processes, new techniques, and cost trends. Carry out site inspections and assess risks and opportunities for project review meetings.
Presentation of project status at project review meetings. Hand over completed projects comprehensively to Clients. Supply Clients with clear, concise documentation at contract commencement.
