Job Description
Improve efficiency and quality in timber joinery, CNC routing, and assembly through engineering and process refinement.
Develop and maintain ISO 9001 quality systems; oversee audits and corrective actions.
Design layouts and material flows using lean principles to enhance throughput.
Lead initiatives like 5S, Kaizen, and waste reduction for continuous improvement.
Identify automation opportunities and support digital technology integration.
Provide technical expertise across multiple sites, ensuring standards and collaboration.
The Successful Applicant
Minimum 5 years in industrial engineering, preferably in timber, furniture, or manufacturing sectors.
Knowledge of CNC machining, jig and fixture design, and factory layout planning.
Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9001, and continuous improvement experience or certification.
Proficient in AutoCAD/SolidWorks, ERP/MES, and data analytics platforms.
Experience in CAPEX projects, automation, and multi-site initiatives.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel across Australia.
