Currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to manage a multi-million dollar Demolition/Decommissioning project located southern suburbs of Perth.
Reporting into the Construction Manager, the Senior Project Manager will have two Projects Managers reporting in, a team of supervisors and up to 50 operational/trade workers on site. A key focus of the Senior PM, will be the management of a cohesive and successful client relationship (from pre- contract stages through to project execution and close out).
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
ORGANISATIONAL - monitor and review progress reports and make staffing/resourcing, financial, schedule and other adjustments to align the developing project with broader outcome goals
COMMERCIAL, PROCUREMENT & CONTRACT MANAGEMENT - Client, Subcontractor and contracts management, manage claims process
LEADERSHIP - hands on' leading and management of project team and conduct effective delegation
FINANCIAL - cost control against budget, forecast costs to complete, review financial reporting
RISK, OHSE, QUALITY - ensure risk mitigation, manage safety in conjunction with safety personnel
Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:
- Previous experience as a Senior Project Manager/Project Manager of large industrial, decommissioning and/or demolition projects
- Experience in Contracts Administration and management advantageous
- Experience in managing scheduling and cost/cash flow management
- Proficient in project management suite of software (e.g., MS Project or Primavera), ERP systems (e.g., Pronto, SAP, Oracle e-business), and project management platforms (e.g., inEight, Aconex, Procure)
- Project Management, Engineering, Finance or Management qualifications advantageous
- Current Driver's License and current White Card
- Current Police Record and ability to obtain DCSI and Defence clearance if required
