Electrical Superintendent

About The Role
RSGx is continuing to grow and is seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team. This position will be FIFO from Australian capital cities to the Pilbara, WA on a 14 on / 7 off roster. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, project team, client and foster a strong and positive culture on site.
- Identify risks and report to Site Manager and Construction Manager.
- Maintain project schedule by reporting progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- Collaborate in daily prestart meetings to identify and eliminate/control hazards and potential harm to the environment.
- Oversee development and implementation of the Project Safety Plan.
- Provide ongoing feedback, support, counsel through informal discussions, regular reviews and encouraging feedback from staff.
- Contribute and collaborate with the HSE team on documentation, reporting issues/incidents and assist with project HSE KPI's.
- Lead and participate in audits, site inspections and crew interactions.
- Monitor competency and training requirements.
- Ensure fully maintained and calibrated tools, equipment and plant remaining fit for task.
- Oversee work crews executing their tasks in accordance with RSGx, our Client's quality (ITP/ITCs) and safe work standards.
- Ensure all Health and Safety incidents are reported immediately to the site Client representative and Project Manager as requiredli>
- Ensure project materials are receipted and available in accordance with project schedule and liaise with Project Procurement Officer & Logistics Coordinator.
- Ensure waste materials are kept and disposed of in accordance with SDS and local site requirements.
- Assist the Site Manager, and HSEQ Coordinators in exercising their responsibilities.
About You
Qualifications
- Electrical trade certificate OR
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Project Management OR
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Civil), Project Management or equivalent.
Experience, Competence, Skills & Knowledge
- Proven Superintendent experience in Electrical Construction.
- Valuable communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge and ability to autonomously read project technical drawings, specifications, and management systems.
- Ability to read and interpret project delivery in accordance with project schedule (P6), providing lookaheads and forecasts.
- Knowledge and demonstrated understanding of all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Ability to report project controls, read construction schedule, identify issues & monitor performance.
- Computer literacy: MS Office, P6 and Procore (preferred).
- Full Driver's License.
