Overview: Coles is seeking a Design Standards Manager to manage brand standards in aesthetics, safety, operational efficiencies, cost and design across our supermarket, local and liquor brands.
We are looking for an experienced retail planner with commercial and financial understanding who can create blueprint and format plans for our brands, ensure all applicable legislative requirements are considered and incorporated into the box designs, and manage the documentation process for all Typicals, Standard drawings, Visual Identity documents and blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:
* Utilise your background in retail design and architectural documentation to manage the brand standards in aesthetics, safety, operational efficiencies, cost and design
* Reporting to the National Standards Manager, you will oversee information sharing with internal and external stakeholders
* Participate in site visits to review standards and ensure safety compliance
Requirements:
* Previous experience in retail planning with some design, commercial and financial understanding desirable
* Ability to manage construction consultants including architects, engineers and quantity surveyors
* Experience presenting to Senior leaders or large groups over Webex
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
* Have some financial understanding of key metrics required to improve Return on equity
* Degree in architecture or engineering will be well regarded
