Accounts Payable Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee a small team responsible for accounts payable processes across our national operations.
This role requires strong knowledge of financial controls, process improvement strategies, and effective team management.
* Lead a team to achieve business outcomes in accounts payable.
* Ensure timely payment processing in accordance with credit terms.
* Assist team members with resolving invoices without purchase orders.
* Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
* Conduct regular supplier account reconciliations against statements.
* Verify required documentation for subcontractor payments.
* Oversee the onboarding of new suppliers.
About You:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounts payable leadership role with supervisory/team leader experience.
* Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and ERP systems.
* Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage change and lead by example.
