The Job:
1. Reporting into the Plant Manager, working closely with the plant leadership team, production, engineering etc.
2. Help set up the processes and procedures of the plant, oversee and have some input and awareness of the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
3. Create and maintain process documents, e.g., work instructions, FMEA, SOPs, risk assessments.
4. Assist with training and mentoring, instilling a safety culture and fostering a professional, supportive, collaborative, and inclusive environment.
The Person:
1. Degree or HNC or equivalent in Process, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
2. Willing to do occasional short trips to other European plants (2–3 days at a time) for knowledge transfer and training, once or twice per year.
3. Good communication skills, with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders and collaborate effectively.
