Data Scientist – Business Bank AI Centre of Excellence (AiCE)
As a Data Scientist in the Business Bank's AI Centre of Excellence (AiCE), you'll contribute to building Gen AI solutions that streamline lending processes and improve customer interactions. You'll apply Machine Learning techniques to develop models that are scalable, reliable, and aligned to business goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, deploy, and monitor generative AI and machine learning models on AWS or equivalent cloud platforms.
* Collaborate closely with business stakeholders across the Business Bank, including front‐line, risk, and controls functions, to understand and deliver on business objectives.
* Apply prompt engineering, retrieval‐augmented generation (RAG), and safety guardrails to create high‐quality AI products.
* Translate complex business problems into technical solutions that improve productivity and customer service.
* Communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, influencing decision‐making through data‐driven evidence.

Technical Skills
* Generative AI hands‐on delivery: demonstrated experience as a Data Scientist with production deployments.
* Expertise in prompt engineering, RAG, design, safety guardrails, and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndex.
* Cloud platform experience: AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, or equivalent.
* Experience deploying, monitoring, and managing generative AI and AI models on AWS infrastructure.
* Proficiency with large language models (LLMs) for diverse business applications.
* Design and construction of statistical machine learning models using Python and SQL for big data analysis.
