The role
We currently have an opportunity for an Asset Manager, SA and WA PPP Schools to join our Health & Education team in Adelaide and play a key role in leading asset maintenance strategy and ensuring compliance across a diverse portfolio of critical school infrastructure. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You'll Do
- Lead the delivery of asset maintenance management strategies, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements across the portfolio
- Analyse asset condition data and develop lifecycle and backlog maintenance plans to optimise building performance and sustainability
- Partner closely with operations and finance teams to provide technical guidance, reporting insights, and commercially sound recommendations
- Manage subcontractor performance, procurement activities, and service delivery outcomes to meet KPI and quality standards
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and long‐term value
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in asset or facilities management within complex or high‐volume environments
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage contracts, financial performance, and reporting requirements effectively
- Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors, procurement processes, and performance‐based delivery models
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Asset Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
