The position of Corporate Finance Analyst will see you play an integral role in providing best-practice complex financial modelling support for transactions, commodities and life of asset projects.
You will develop best-in-class complex financial models for the lifecycle of various assets (mine, manufacturing facility, energy and resources), and play an active role in supporting the development of a transaction, and fostering a collaborative culture of work.
Your key deliverable is to develop complex financial models and maintain and review existing models to support commercial, asset and investment decisions.
You will also provide strategic financial advice, commercial decision-making support, counsel, and partnering with stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives.
This role would suit an individual who enjoys being on-site in the office, Monday to Friday.
**About You**:
- Minimum 5+ years building complex financial models at any stage of the asset lifecycle, supporting mining, resources, infrastructure and energy-related projects throughout the phases of planning, procuring, delivering, operating or transitioning
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to develop and maintain various types of complex, financial, commercial and investment forms of modelling, including the lifecycle of assets (eg. lifecycle of mine modelling, pricing, costing, ROI, NPV, etc)
- A track record of success working in a highly agile, dynamic, and projects orientated environment, within the mining, resources, energy, construction and or commodities investment arena is well regarded
- Strong ability to develop and review existing financial models to support high-profile transactions globally
- Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, mathematics, economics, engineering or law
- A proactive approach, with genuine curiosity and interest to understand various areas of the business, engage and build collaborative partnerships with all levels of internal and external stakeholders, particularly with engineering, geological and technical teams
- High-level critical thinking and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent corporate documentation development and presentation abilities
- A self-starter, eager, ambitious, and hungry to excel in a high-growth industry and environment
