Responsibilities
Lead and perform the development of solution architectures and designs in collaboration with colleagues across both business and technical domains.Guide solution architectures through decision-making processes including via presentation of proposals for endorsement via Architectural Review Board.Define reference architectures, target architecture and other technical decision-making instruments that guide development of solution designs.Assist projects to obtain architectural and design approvals and to make technical decisions within the scope of approved designs.Contribute to maintenance, update of and reporting on information in the Institute’s enterprise architecture repository.Contribute to update and improvement of internal ICT processes and governance.
Skills required:
Strong architecture and design skills, including the ability to develop and communicate clear solution designs, options and architectural advice to support technical decision making.The candidate demonstrates substantial design experience spanning application, infrastructure and security domains, with experience designing integrated solutions that consider resilience, availability, risk and compliance.The candidate demonstrates broad design experience covering solutions based on a range of platform environments, including Microsoft, Linux-based and cloud-based Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) deployments, both individually and as part of hybrid implementations.
