The team focuses on strategic planning, policy, workforce, research, education, and training locally, nationally, and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Research and develop policy that guides professional practice in nursing and midwifery.
* Provide expert advice to inform future statewide policy direction for nursing and midwifery professional practice.
* Build effective networks with internal and external stakeholders to develop statewide nursing and midwifery policy.
* Lead and facilitate stakeholder engagement to achieve agreed outcomes.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in nursing and midwifery policy development and implementation.
* Broad understanding of healthcare systems and national/international trends in nursing and midwifery workforce and service delivery.
* Leadership skills and ability to build productive networks.
