Job Overview:
The Deputy Medical Director is a senior clinical leadership position working closely with the Medical Director to provide leadership and supervision for remote clinics, ensuring high-quality comprehensive care for clients.
* This role splits commitment between clinic work as a Senior GP and Clinical Leadership team, focusing on policy development, clinical risk mitigation, and continuous quality improvement.
* General Practitioners work within a multidisciplinary team practicing complex medicine and providing culturally safe care to Aboriginal people.
* Responsibilities include chronic disease care, health checks, preventative healthcare, and routine general practice consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead clinical teams in remote clinics
Provide supervision and mentorship to GPs and Clinic Managers
Develop and implement policies to improve patient outcomes
