**The Position**
This is a permanent opportunity working in the fast-paced automotive industry, based on site in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. In this role you will report directly to the People & Culture Manager and work within a small and tight knit team of 3. Boasting some great employee benefits from free onsite parking to discount on products.
This role will see you taking charge and championing the recruitment process, where you will be working across the full remit of recruitment activities. You will be responsible for mentoring and supporting managers across the business in their recruitment needs, while also building out the recruitment function.
This role would suit a HR professional who is early on in their career and is looking to undertake a new challenge and grow out their skill set.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Liaising with Managers to provide ongoing support, succession and development planning;
- Maintenance and management of the database - uploading documentation and reporting on recruitment metrics, contract generation and initiating the onboarding process, including new employees, departures and updating the HRIS;
- Providing support in the form of general administration duties, day-to-day operations, and adhoc HR duties;
- Development and execution of innovative recruitment processes and employment branding activities.
**Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrated experience as a Recruitment Consultant in an internal environment, or experience managing a high-volume desk within a recruitment agency;
- Ability to multi-task and work at a high volume and fast pace, you are well-versed in all strategic and operational components of internal recruitment and used to working to tight deadlines and recruiting many technical roles across a variety of portfolios at once.
- Exception problem solving and strategic thinking abilities, in face-to-face and virtual environment.
- Demonstrate flexibility and pro-activeness to ensure workloads are effectively managed and prioritised in an ever-changing environment.
