Metal Mart currently has a vacancy for an experienced store/ warehouse person within our steel sales division. This position would suit someone with prior warehouse/store experience. The right candidate will also be trained in the purchasing of scrap metal
Various shifts are available, across the weekdays and some Saturdays
The position duties include but not limited to:
* Responding to our customers face to face, over the phone and via the internet.
* Unloading of trucks (with a Forklift)
* Preparing orders
* Putting stock away,receiving stock and cutting of stock
* Cleaning machinery
* Purchasing of Scrap metal
We are looking for people with sound communication skills, who are hard working, honest, and can think on their feet. You will need good organisational skills and have a sound attention to detail. Most importantly, you will like people, sales and providing excellent service.
Experience in the steel industry is not essential, however a good attitude and friendly nature is. We will train the right person across all parts of the business.

* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* A forklift licence
* Comprehension and understanding of warehouse safety
* Reliable
This role does contain some heavy lifting, so you will need to be physically fit. We do provide all the necessary tools to get the job done so you will never be short of help.
