Strategic Logistics Analyst and Modeller
The Senior Logistics Analyst and Modeller is responsible for contributing to the development and delivery of analytical models and data-driven insights that drive business growth.
* Lead the delivery of defined modelling and analytics work packages within the team, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
* Apply advanced analytical techniques to assess spares policies, stockholdings, and supply posture, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for continuous enhancement.
* Contribute to the development of modelling approaches that support strategic supply chain planning and decision-making, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
* Provide data-driven recommendations that inform spares policy, stockholding strategies, and supply chain posture assessments, enabling informed business decisions.
Key requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in logistics, analytics, engineering, or a related field, preferably with a focus on data science and analytics.
* Demonstrated experience leading analytical tasks or small projects, with a proven track record of delivering results.
* Proficiency in modelling tools (e.g., Python, R, simulation software) and data platforms (e.g., Power BI, SAP, SQL), with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
* Demonstrated working knowledge of master data management standards, with experience in implementing and maintaining data quality processes.
* Experience in writing reports related to sparing models, including data visualization and communication of complex concepts.
* Experience in developing and delivering presentations to senior management of modelled scenarios, solutions or strategic options, with a focus on clear and compelling storytelling.
