**ABOUT THE ROLE & OPPORTUNITY**
Reporting to the Ecommerce Warehouse and Fulfillment Coordinator, you'll be joining a rapidly growing part of our retail business at an exciting time in our overall Omni-channel strategy.
**THE ROLE SPECIFICS**
- Responsible for receiving customer orders daily and prioritising for immediate fulfillment to ensure customer satisfaction
- Efficiently pick, inspect, and pack for safe and secure shipping
- Receive stock orders, inspect for quality before storing and rerouting.
- Arrange credit with suppliers if stock is damaged.
- Store product by designated storage areas, adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location on the inventory system.
- Monitor inventory by completing stocktakes as required
- Monitor supplies of packing materials and order as required
- Ensure delivery schedule is maintained and promptly alert management if a delay is likely
- Work with Ecommerce team to receive invoices, matching them against PO's and processing them.
- Maintain accurate cost records for inventory items
- Support Ecommerce team with general running of the warehouse
- Identify efficiencies and improvements in operating processes
- Assist members of the wider team as required and perform other duties reasonably expected to be performed within your level of competence, as directed by Matchbox management
- Develop positive relationships with the Matchbox team and maintain a positive, team-player can-do attitude as an integral member of the Matchbox marketing team.
**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum of 1 years experience in a warehouse role for a retailer.
- Quick learner with the ability to absorb information about our processes
- Proactive personality and self-motivator
- Demonstrates initiative with the ability to multi-task and detail oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Proven to be organized, methodical and rigorous
- Team player able to develop great relations with co-workers
