The Opportunity
You will lead a highly committed People and Culture team driving key HR functions including business partnering, employee and industrial relations, recruitment, and health, safety, and wellbeing. Your mission is to provide expert advice on complex people management issues and contribute to the development of strategic workforce plans.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and operational management to teams delivering diverse HR services.
* Offer expert advice to clients and stakeholders on complex people management issues.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of Treasury's Strategic Workforce Plan.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance workforce initiatives.
* Champion a performance culture using a coaching approach to develop team capabilities and enhance client-focused services.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring proven experience leading teams delivering diverse HR services with strong prioritisation, collaboration, and resource-sharing skills. You will have demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in human resource management including strategic initiatives and complex advisory services ideally within the public service.
