**About Us**
Vinnies NILs is a Special Work of the St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria. We offer No Interest Loans (NILs) of up to $2,000 to people on low incomes for the purchase of essential goods and services. The delivery of the NILs program relies on the dedication of its volunteers.
**About You**
The role of the Vinnies NILs Interviewer is to conduct NILs interviews and data entry. They need to be reliable and strive to service our applicants with integrity, honesty and care. It is desirable that the successful applicant can commit to the role for a minimum of 6 months and approximately 3-4 hours of volunteer time per week to maximise the benefits of experience and training in the role.
**What You’ll Do**
•Conduct Interviews with NILs applicants involving creating a budget in collaboration with the individual.
•Demonstrate an understanding of the NILs parameters and required supporting information and documentation for a NILs application. Training for the role is provided in conjunction with Good Shepherd.
•Accurately enter application details into the specialised NILs software, MyNILSapp.
•Prepare clear and concise summaries of the application interviews.
•Always maintain client confidentiality and adhere to Good Shepherd Australia & New Zealand and St Vincent de Paul Society’s policies and procedures.
**Location & Times**
Inner City Office – Kensington
Geelong
Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

•Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC)
•Police Check
(We’ll guide you through obtaining these at no cost if needed.)
