About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support and general TA duties to one of our schools within Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about working with young children and making a positive impact on their educational journey. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis, and have a nurturing and patient approach. These roles are temporary but many of which may develop into long term and even permanent.
About the school
The schools we work with are lovely, welcoming and supportive. Working in Cambridge you will work between 08:00 and 6:00pm Monday to Wednesday.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting in the last 3 years
* A passion for helping young children achieve their full potential.
* Patience, flexibility, and a proactive approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
* A relevant qualification in education or childcare, (Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable but not essential.
* An enhanced DBS check will be required.
* Ability to travel between schools is essential.
