Carpentry Supervisor – Join Our Growing Team at TEC services Group
TEC Services Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Carpentry Supervisor to lead onsite carpentry operations across a range of residential and commercial projects in the Pilbara Region. This role suits a hands‑on leader who takes pride in quality workmanship, team development, and delivering projects safely and on schedule.
This is a versatile position, with a varying split between office‑based tasks (primarily computer work) and hands‑on project and field task supervision.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day‑to‑day carpentry activities and supervise a team of carpenters and apprentices
* Interpret plans, specifications, and construction drawings with accuracy
* Coordinate materials, subcontractors, and workflow to meet project timelines
* Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets industry standards and company expectations
* Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS regulations
* Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members
* Liaise with site managers, project managers, and clients as required
* Troubleshoot onsite issues and implement practical solutions
Roster
* 2 weeks on, 1 week off (2:1) FIFO position – ex Perth (East Coast major cities considered for the right candidate.) Accommodation provided in Port Hedland.
* or residential (Port Hedland) Mon – Fri position (with opportunity to work weekends).
About You
* Qualified Carpenter with a Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent)
* Proven experience in a supervisory or leading hand role
* Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and WHS requirements
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high‑quality workmanship
* Current WA driver's licence
* White Card
