Job Description
An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Full Time Chef at this independently owned property.
Responsibilities
Preparing, cooking and serving high quality meals
Effective and efficient operation of the kitchen
Managing kitchen equipment
Receiving and examining supplies to ensure quality and quantity meet venue and food safety standards
Abiding by food safety regulations
Ensuring cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen
Refreshing menu seasonally and creating weekly chef specials
Availability & Shift Schedule
Available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Lunch & Dinner
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role
Work well in a team structure
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to create seasonal menu with costings
Experience in ordering accurately
New menu design & costing
Ability to train chefs, apprentices & kitchen hand
FOOD SAFE Supervisor Certificate
Unrestricted Approved Managers Card Certificate III & IV in commercial Cookery
Salary
Salary $70,******-$77,******
Other Requirements
38 hours per week
