Lead Business Improvement Specialist
About The Role
At Babcock Australasia, we're on a journey of transformation, and we are looking for a Lead Business Improvement Specialist to help shape the path forward. Reporting to the Senior Project Governance and Controls Manager, this role plays a critical part in driving change, innovation, and excellence across our operations. You will be responsible for identifying and prioritising improvement opportunities, managing the delivery of transformation projects, and ensuring that structured improvement initiatives are implemented effectively using industry-proven frameworks such as DMAIC, PDCA, or similar. You’ll work closely with program and project teams, leading the implementation of strategic improvements aligned with our broader business objectives.
You will bring a structured approach to change, underpinned by a strong focus on people. Using change management models such as ADKAR, you will ensure our staff are engaged, informed, and supported through each phase of the transformation journey—from planning and execution to post-implementation. You will lead the local deployment of improvement strategies, collaborate with other internal functions, and promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
Your role will also involve preparing project documentation, determining resource requirements, and ensuring delivery adheres to Lean Six Sigma principles. Ultimately, your work will contribute to enhancing the overall maturity of business improvement capabilities within Babcock Australasia.
About You
Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for business transformation and continuous improvement?
