About the role: We are looking for a qualified, creative and passionate Pastry Chef as well as a Pastry Apprentice to join our Ammos kitchen team. You'll assist with the day-to-day culinary operations, showcasing your skills in both classic and innovative savoury & sweet pastry creations.
Responsibilities:
* Preparation and presentation of sweet & savoury pastry items for lunch & dinner A la Carte service
* Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
* Ensure all products are of a high quality and presentation
* Open communication with the Kitchen team and other departments in the hotel
* Commitment to ensuring an amazing guest experience and delivering on customer expectations at all times
* Make our guests smile with the most delicious desserts, slices, cakes, tarts and pastry goods
What you'll bring:
* Pastry qualification or currently undergoing study to obtain
* Hotel or commercial experience is advantageous
* Ability to work autonomously and in bulk volume
* Passion and creativity for all things sweet, a flair for flavours and menu creation a bonus
